Bid Description:
This Request for Information (RFI) is issued by the Office of Purchasing & Contracting for the State of Vermont (SoV) Department of Vermont Health Access (DVHA) to obtain information, cost estimates and system capabilities available in the current marketplace to provide and/or implement a modular Coordination of Benefits (COB) solution/system. Utilizing the MITA 3.0 framework, the current CMS requirement for modular procurements, State and Federal standards, the modular COB solution/system will automate, track, electronically bill and standardize the identified COB business processes ensuring that Medicaid is the payer of last resort while streamlining processes to increase COB activities and COB recoveries. The DVHA intends to evaluate the submissions by respondents to explore the systems/solutions available in the current marketplace, what systems/solutions would best meet the DVHA’s current and future needs and the cost associated with proposed solutions. The Agency shall not be held liable for any costs incurred by the vendors in the preparation of their submission for this RFI or for any work performed prior to contract issuance.
